Fred Chavez / Secretary
Fred Chavez came to the Partnership’s Board of Directors with over 29 years of Information Technology experience in the corporate world. He has spent the last 16 years of his career at VSP (Vision Service Plan) where he holds the position as Data Center Manager.
Fred runs a successful DJ and Portable Photo Booth home based business. Fred is a dedicated father that loves to spend time with his six children including 6 year old twins. Fred’s passions include music, fishing, gardening and the martial arts. He has studied the martial arts for over 15 years and has attained black belts in White Tiger Kenpo, Jujitsu and American Kenpo Karate. He is currently teaching American Kenpo with the Cordova Parks and Recreation Department.
Fred grew up in South San Francisco and lived in Cameron Park for 15 years before moving to Rancho Cordova in 2007. He credits his mother Maria for teaching him through her example, to be compassionate when others are in need. He takes pride in his community and is grateful that he is in a position that enables him to help others.
Rian Troth - Board Director
Program Manager- Outreach & Residential Assistance, SMUD
Rian Troth, is a Supervisor in Customer Programs and Services with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). In this capacity he oversees several customer facing programs, including low-income weatherization and refrigerator program, residential advisory services, and residential community outreach. Rian has been with SMUD for over 11 years, and was the founder of Network Café in collaboration with the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership and SMUD. Rian is also very active in his community, including being on local neighborhood Boards, sport league Boards and is proud to be serving on the local chapter of Rebuilding Togethers Board.
Rian’s educational background includes a Masters in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and two Bachelors of Arts degrees from the University California Davis, in Research Psychology, and Sociology. Rian is also the proud father of two boys, Brandon and Bentley.
Tiffany Cantrell / President
Vision Service Plan
A long time area native, Tiffany Cantrell resides in Sacramento.While currently working in the insurance industry, Tiffany's professional background also includes working in healthcare and education. With a passion for event planning, she puts her skills to use in both her professional and personal life wether it be a charitable drive, contributing to community fundraising efforts or hosting friends and family for a special occasion.Tiffany has an Associate of Arts degree from American River College in Liberal Arts and also attended Stanislaus State University.

Brandon Ross/Vice President
Attorney, California Health Benefit Exchance/Covered California
Brandon Ross is the Assistant General for Covered California, the newly created state-based insurance marketplace. In this capicity, Brandon is involved in major health policy issues facing the State of California and is responsible for advising the Covered California Board and executive team regarding the implementation of Covered California. In addition to supervising the legal department at Covered California, Brandon provides counsel in the areas of health plan contracting, compliance, the Small Business Health Options Program, and general transactional matters. Brandon has a deep commitment to his community, and has provided countless hours of pro bono work and volunteered for numerous organizations, such as the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and the Community Legal Information Center, Chico. In his free time, Brandon enjoys hunting and fishing throughout the Western United States and spending time and vacationing with his wife. Brandon grew up North of Sacramento in the City of Corning. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law and a Bacherlor's Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University Chico
Brian Wallace/ Board Director
Ricoh Americas Coroporation
Brian Wallace joined the Partnership's Board of Directors in the summer of 2014. Professionally, Brian has spent the last 15 years in the document services industry where he has held a variety of sales and marketing roles. He has been with Richoh Americas Coroation since 2004, and is currently a Senior Manager in Channel Marketing. Brian also serves on the Folsom's Arts & Cultural Commission .
Brian made important contributions as a member of Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento #, a service organization that has served local children since 1922. Brian was the recipient of two significant awards: the Rookie of the Year Award in 2000 and the Man of the Year Award in 2010.
You can typically find Brian and his wife Jessica out at the soccer field, baseball field, dance studio, or at scouting events near thier home in Folsom cheerling on thier two children. When time allows, Brian's personal interests include graphic design, travel, hiking, and music.
Brian is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento where he obtained a B.A. in Communication Studies. He has lived in the greater Sacramento region his entire life life and is passionate about helping others locally and building strong communiyies.
A.J. Holm / Board Director
Arnold "A.J. Johnson Holm is a native Californian with strong ties to the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area communities; he has been helping to build community and business relationships th throughout California and the U.S. for over two decades.
His Business Development and Account Management experience spans multiple sectors, including finaancil services, higher education, state and local government, and non-profit.
Through his work, Mr. Holm has contributed to the success and growth of organizations inculding Franklin Templeton, G.T. Global University of California San Francisco, California Department of Public Health. He attended California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Development.
A.J. is passionate about improving the condition of the less fortunate populations by creating advocacy and smart business practices that create resources and make a positive difference in people lives.
