Available AmeriCorps Positions

This position posting will close on January 1, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Position may work well for college students.

Home Visitation (approximately 25-40 hours per week)
Home Visitors serve as the family's primary contact in the Birth and Beyond Family Resource Center Program that serves the community as related to for children 0-17 years. Home Visitors provide in-home services on a weekly basis to families participating in the Nurturing Parenting curriculum.  In addition to program responsibilities, all Home Visitors may be required to support the following agency components: Outreach, EPI support, small and large-scale events including Partnership events. 

School Readiness Home Visitor (approximately 25-40 hours per week)
The School Readiness Home Visitor is responsible for providing educationally based services and referral/resources to enhance social/emotional development of families with children 0-17 years old. Through the support of the School Readiness Home Visitor, families will be building on family strengths and enhancing self-sufficiency.

Family Resource Aide- Effective Parenting (approximately 25-40 hours per week)
Family Resource Aide will provide support and coordination to Effective Parenting components of the Family Resource Center (FRC) that serves the community as related to children 0-17 years. Responsible for supporting large scale events, workshops and facilitation of parenting workshops. Responsible for supporting the Resource Center in providing tours, resources, support to multiple programs, community outreach and collaboration building.  In addition to program responsibilities, all Family Resource Aides will be required to support the following agency components: Outreach, EPI support, small and large-scale events including Partnership events.
