Q: What is home visitation?
A: Birth & Beyond Community Response is a FREE family support home visitation program. The focus is on nurturing the relationship between the parent and child as well as providing information and support through child development, parenting support and connections with community resources.
Q: Does home visitation have to happen in my home?
A: Yes. Home visitation must happen at the home of the family and children that are being served by the program.
Q: How often will my home be visited?
A: Home visitation can happen once a week, twice a month or once every three weeks depending on the needs and wishes of the family being served.
Q: Is participation based on an income requirement?
A: No. Birth & Beyond Community Response participation is not based on income.
Q: How long does it take to start services?
A: The referral process usually takes about 1-2 weeks before family notification to begin services. Referral sources will be notified if referral is ineligible for services via fax.
