To be a mentor, you don't need special talents or skills. All you need is an ability to listen and to offer friendship, support and guidance to a young person. You'll be pleasantly surprised by how much you'll get out of the experience too!

• Steps to Become a Mentor
• Attend an orientation
• Complete and return the mentor application
• Complete an in-home interview
• Clear fingerprint check
• Complete an eight-hour mentor training
• Provide a copy of your DMV record, license and proof of auto insurance
