Volunteer pg.jpgPartner Up Volunteer Program

Today, more than ever, volunteers play a key role in all aspects of the Partnership’s mission. At the Partnership volunteering is rich and diverse. It is about providing direct services to children and families we serve. It is about helping sort food donations and create food boxes. It is about making a difference in the community by becoming a mentor. It is about helping out at the Partnership’s front desk. It is about staffing our events such as A Taste of December, The Sweetheart Ball, and The Skoglund Family Toy Drive. It is about helping with our mailers, data entry, filing and community outreach. It is about providing skilled pro-bono services .

The Partner Up Volunteer Program responds to community needs and promotes activities that improve the community.

Current Volunteer Opportunities include:

Office Assistance
There are always projects in our office that can involve the talents of volunteers who prefer to work in an office setting. We welcome volunteers on a regular or on-call basis to help with front office duties, data entry, and filing.

Tabling Volunteer
Throughout the year, The Partnership goes out into the community at different venues to share with others the benefits of enhancing the education health and well being of children and families in our community. If you enjoy talking to people and sharing your experiences with others, apply today.

Event Coordinators
Do you have experience in coordinating events? Would you like a challenge? For more details about helping behind the scenes with The Partnership fundraising events and the Family Resource Center events, contact us today.

Summer Camp Volunteers
Looking for something really fun to do? Would you like to engage with youth over summer or to assist in planning and running activities? Why not do both at the same time? Become a Summer Camp Volunteer and facilitate CAKe Summer Camp on-site presentations, assist with the program curriculum implementation and activities.

If you are looking for an internship, for job experience and/or school credit, contact us.  We can work with you to meet your experience and educational goals.  Internships can be related to media, graphic design, communications, fundraising, office administration, community outreach and much more.

Food Access:
We need volunteers who are willing to secure food donations, pick-up donations and deliver them to our center, and start grass roots food drives, community fundraisers and word-of mouth campaigns to support the Fresh Food Program.
