EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Robert Sanger joined the FCCP team in 2006.  During his tenure, he has provided leadership and vision for mission fulfillment in an effort to meet the needs of our community.  For 25+ years, Robert has dedicated his career to enhancing supportive services for overburdened families in Sacramento County.  He feels that one of the greatest pleasures is to see families succeed because they have the tools and opportunity to achieve their full potential.  His educational background includes a degree in Psychology from California State University Sacramento, years of working in the human services field and multiple professional certificates.

Robert loves to spend time with his wife and two children.  He feels a secure loving home is the most important investment he can make in his children's future.  Robert has a strong commitment to fostering community service and has successfully completed two terms of AmeriCorps National Service.  He is active at his church and leads a couple’s LifeGroup bible study with his wife.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS - FAMILY & HEALTH ADJACENT SERVICES

Michele Cook has been on staff since 2006. During her time at the agency, she has affected growth in both programming and staff development. Michele came to FCCP after years of work as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist for children and their families in Sacramento County. She served as the Birth & Beyond Home Visitation Team Leader for three years prior to her current position as the Director of Programs.

Michele’s educational background includes a degree in Ethnic Studies from California State University Sacramento, an MA in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, years of working in the human services field and multiple professional certificates.

She enjoys Bikram yoga/meditation for self-care and is the proud mother of a brilliant young adult.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS - YOUTH & EMPLOYMENT SERVICES


Doris Cortez, pronouns She/Her/Hers, has demonstrated leadership and experience in uplifting and empowering her teams and communities through education, mentorship and art.

She has dedicated her life to unpacking and breaking the systems that generate cycles of generational trauma, poverty and violence to underserved families and children, specifically BIPOC, LGBT+, individuals with disabilities and high barriers. Her passion lies in building bridges of opportunity and accessibility to individualized safety networks of mental health, youth, employment and education services. 

Doris has over 10 years of combined experience working in family and youth services and over 6 years in workforce development having managed various projects and programs in Southern California, Davis, Sacramento and now Rancho Cordova. Her educational background includes a BA in Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies  from UC Davis.

She loves staying physically active, road trips to the mountains, trying new coffee/boba shops and spending quality time with family and friends.


ELAYNE HOLDER / EHolder@theFCCP.org

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Elayne comes to FCCP with over 18 years of experience in non-profit development.  What she loves most about fundraising and development is bringing people together.  Matching needs with people and raising awareness and funds to support families. What drives Elayne are the communities she lives and works in. Having meaningful impact, that brings a smile to her face is Elayne’s purpose.

She has been credited for revitalizing several different campaigns and programs.  Elayne also has extensive experience in sales where she has built, trained, developed, and supported several different types of teams including volunteers. 

Elayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business from California State University, Sacramento. 

She loves photography and travel. She finds joy and peace being in nature.  When not behind a camera in a beautiful place, Elayne enjoys audio books, long walks, and playing board games with her two adult children.

ACCOUNTING / ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Peggy Felger has twenty-five years of experience overseeing multiple accounting and administrative practices specializing in streamlining budgeting, bookkeeping, and organizational reporting processes to ensure quick and accurate outcomes.

Peggy moved from Buffalo, New York to the Rancho Cordova area in 2005. Peggy developed a strong sense of devotion for her community raising her three children as a single mother, volunteering regularly at sporting and educational events.

Her first-hand knowledge of the struggles that many families have gone through gave her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life in our region. Peggy helps ensure that the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership continues to have the ability to enhance the education, health, and well-being of children, youth, and adults of our community.
