Our Leadership Staff




Robert Sanger has been on staff since 2006.  During his tenure, he has provided leadership and vision for mission fulfillment in an effort to meet the needs of our community.  For 20+ years, Robert has dedicated his career to enhancing supportive services for overburdened families in Sacramento County.  He feels that one of the greatest pleasures is to see families succeed because they have the tools and opportunity to achieve their full potential.  His educational background includes a degree in Psychology from California State University Sacramento, years of working in the human services field and multiple professional certificates.

Robert loves to spend time with his wife and two children.  He feels a secure loving home is the most important investment he can make in his children's future.  Robert has a strong commitment to fostering community service and has successfully completed two terms of AmeriCorps National Service.  He is active at his church and leads a couple’s LifeGroup bible study with his wife.



Michele Nunn has been on staff since 2006. During her time at the agency, she has affected growth in both programming and staff development. Michele came to FCCP after years of work as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist for children and their families in Sacramento County. She served as the Birth & Beyond Home Visitation Team Leader for 3 years prior to her current position as the Director of Programs. Her educational background includes a degree in Ethnic Studies from California State University Sacramento, a MA in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, years of working in the human services field and multiple professional certificates.  She enjoys Bikram yoga/ meditation for self-care and is the proud mother of a brilliant young adult.

Renee John has been on staff since 2009.  During her time with the agency, Renee has been instrumental in the growth of employment and self-sufficiency programs including the opening of Folsom Cordova Job Center.  In 2016, her responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of FCCP’s youth development programs. Previous to her tenure at FCCP, Renee served three years as Community Development Director for the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce. Prior she has an extensive background in the hospitality industry including restaurant management, event planning and catering sales. Renee is active in her community having served as director of an organization for women entrepreneurs, in church leadership, and on school site councils.  Renee believes all people, children and adults, deserve the opportunity to live healthy, productive lives.  She works to this end every single day.
